Day 1
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel for some rest after your flight.
To make your experience smoother, we’ll have an Iran SIM card ready for you, so there’s no need to wait at the airport for this.
Afterward, you’ll meet your guide and officially begin your Iran tour together.
Tehran City Tour: Today’s tour will introduce you to the two main symbols of Tehran:
- Azadi Tower, a striking landmark symbolizing modern Tehran.
- Golestan Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll explore the rich history and stunning architecture of this royal complex.
After getting familiar with Iran’s vibrant capital, you’ll spend the night in Tehran.


Day 2
On this day, we will embark on a scenic drive to Isfahan (approximately 450 km, about 5 hours).
Isfahan was once the magnificent capital of the Safavid Dynasty in the 17th century, and it remains one of Iran’s most culturally and architecturally rich cities.
After arriving and checking into your hotel, you’ll have some time to rest.
In the afternoon, we will explore two of Isfahan’s iconic historical bridges:
- Siose Pol Bridge (33-Arch Bridge), an impressive example of Persian architecture.
- Khajoo Bridge, a favorite local spot where you’ll often hear groups of Iranians singing beneath the bridge’s arches, creating a magical atmosphere.
After enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the bridges, you’ll return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Isfahan.
Day 3
Today, we will explore Isfahan with a full-day tour, starting at the heart of the city:
- Naghsh-e Jahan Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will visit several iconic landmarks:
- Imam Mosque (Shah Mosque), a masterpiece of Islamic architecture, famed for its intricate tile work and towering minarets.
- Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, also known as the “Ladies’ Mosque,” built for the royal harem of the Safavid dynasty.
- Chehel Sotoon Palace, a graceful pavilion built by Shah Abbas II for entertainment and royal receptions, surrounded by a peaceful garden.
- Ali Qapu Palace, known for its stunning music room and the elevated balconies where Safavid kings watched polo games in the square below.
- Isfahan Bazaar, where you’ll have the chance to browse through the vibrant handicraft shops, offering traditional Persian art and souvenirs.
In the afternoon, we will head to Vank Cathedral in the Jolfa District, the Armenian quarter of Isfahan. This cathedral is renowned for its beautifully decorated interior and unique blend of Islamic and European architectural styles.
You’ll have free time in the afternoon to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 4
Here’s a detailed itinerary for your drive from Isfahan to Yazd with a stop at Meybod:
Day Plan: Isfahan to Yazd (320km – 4 hours)
- Departure from Isfahan: Start your journey from Isfahan early in the morning. The drive to Yazd takes approximately 4 hours, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore Meybod on the way.
Stop in Meybod: A Town of Desert Architecture
- First Impressions: As you approach Meybod, you’ll be struck by the monochromatic architecture, typical of desert towns. The city is built from adobe bricks, blending seamlessly with its arid surroundings.
Sites to Visit in Meybod:
- Pigeon Tower (Borj-e Kabutar):
- These ancient towers were designed to house thousands of pigeons, who provided fertilizer for agriculture. Their unique design and the sheer scale make them worth visiting.
- Narin Castle (Narin Qal’eh):
- An ancient mud-brick citadel that dates back to pre-Islamic times, possibly over 2,000 years old. The fortress offers panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscape, and exploring its remains feels like stepping back in time.
- Meybod Pottery Shops:
- Meybod is famous for its traditional pottery. Visit the local shops to see how artisans create beautifully crafted ceramics, often using techniques that have been passed down for generations. You can even purchase some as souvenirs.
Continue to Yazd:
- Arrival in Yazd: After your visit to Meybod, continue your journey to Yazd, which is roughly an hour’s drive away. You’ll arrive in Yazd by the late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll check into your accommodation.
Overnight in Yazd:
- Relax: After a long day of travel and sightseeing, spend the night relaxing in one of Yazd’s traditional hotels.
Day 5: Exploring Yazd
- Start your day with breakfast at your hotel, preparing for a full day of exploring the unique and historical sites in Yazd.
Morning:
- Tower of Silence (Dakhmeh-ye Zartoshtiyun):
- Begin your day by visiting the Tower of Silence, located just outside of Yazd. This ancient Zoroastrian burial site, perched on a hilltop, provides insight into the unique pre-Islamic tradition of sky burials. The dead were laid out on the towers for birds to consume, as the Zoroastrians believed this was the most respectful way to return the body to nature.
- Yazd Atash Behram (Yazd Fire Temple):
- About the site: This temple houses a sacred flame that has supposedly been burning continuously for over 1,500 years. It’s one of the most important Zoroastrian fire temples in Iran.
- Dowlat Abad Garden:
- This UNESCO-listed Persian garden is renowned for its tall wind tower (badgir) and intricate water systems (qanat). It was once the residence of a Persian ruler and serves as a perfect example of Persian landscape design.
- Yazd Old Town (Fahadan Quarter):
- Yazd’s old town is a maze of narrow, sun-baked alleys and adobe buildings, which gives it a timeless feel. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best-preserved examples of traditional Iranian mud-brick architecture.
- Jameh Mosque of Yazd:
- This mosque is an architectural gem, famous for its tall minarets (the highest in Iran) and exquisite blue-tiled entrance portal. It was originally built during the 12th century, though much of what you see today is from the 14th century.
- Amir Chakhmaq Square:
- One of the most iconic landmarks in Yazd, Amir Chakhmaq Square is known for its symmetrical sunken alcoves, creating a striking façade. The complex includes a mosque, a bathhouse, and a bazaar.

- Return to your hotel after a fulfilling day of exploration. You can relax and unwind, perhaps reflecting on the ancient traditions and stunning desert architecture that make Yazd such a unique destination.


Day 6: Yazd to Persepolis & Necropolis
- Departure from Yazd: After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for Persepolis, a 380 km drive that will take around 5 hours.
- Pasargadae:
- On the way to Persepolis, make a stop at Pasargadae, the ancient capital of Cyrus the Great, founder of the Achaemenid Empire. This UNESCO World Heritage site holds great historical significance as it marks the beginning of the Persian Empire.
- Continue your journey to Persepolis, about an hour from Pasargadae.
- Persepolis:
- One of the greatest wonders of the ancient world, Persepolis was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire, founded by Darius the Great in 512 B.C. The city was a center of art, culture, and power until its destruction by Alexander the Great.
- Naqsh-e-Rustam (Necropolis):
- Located just a few kilometers from Persepolis, this is the burial site of Darius the Great and his successors, carved directly into a towering cliff face. The rock tombs resemble crosses from a distance and are incredibly impressive up close.
- After your visit to Naqsh-e-Rustam, you will continue your journey to Shiraz, which is approximately a 1-hour drive from Persepolis.
Day 7: Shiraz City Tour & Flight to Tehran

- Nasir al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque):
- About the site: Start your day by visiting the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, famous for its stunning stained glass windows and the colorful reflections they cast on the mosque’s interior during the morning hours.
